    cozy atmosphere
    helpful staff
    delicious food
    noisy extractor fan

Had a fantastic time staying with friends! We explored beautiful hiking trails and enjoyed the cozy pub atmosphere. The staff were super helpful, and the food was a highlight—delicious breakfast and lovely dinner options. Just a heads-up, the dog needs to be taken outside for bathroom breaks as there's no immediate access. We loved our stay!

We found the extractor fan in our room to be quite noisy at times, which was a bit distracting during our stay.

    delicious food
    impressive breakfast
    remote location
    weak shower
    missing hooks

The food here was top-notch, especially the steak and ale pie—absolute deliciousness on a plate! The breakfast spread was just as impressive. The location is remote, so you can kick back and soak in the peace and quiet.

The shower pressure was weak, making hair wash a bit of a tussle. the lack of hooks in the bathrooms was a cheeky oversight—definitely needs sorting.

    confusing location

    Charming place, tricky access!

Staying overnight was nice, especially since the food was super tasty! The staff were really friendly, and we had a lovely meal despite arriving late. Just a heads-up though, it's kinda tough to find in the dark, and the kettle was outside our room, which was annoying. Nice bar area to chill at too!

    Couple looking for a getaway

The food was sensational, especially the Steak and Ale Pie, it was like a perfect crime of taste! The staff were top-notch, made us feel welcomed and even remembered our drink orders.

Not exactly cheap, but for what you get it’s still reasonable.

    great location
    comfy cottage
    secure garden
    weak shower
    spotty wifi

great location, we did a local 8 mile walk right after we got there! the one-bedroom cottage was perfect for 3 people and had everything we needed for our short stay. loved the little garden outside, very secure for ur dogs. was really nice and comfy too.

the shower was a bit of a trickle, so it was tough to wash my hair. also, the wifi was spotty and disconnected a lot, which was annoying.

    cozy king room
    variety breakfast
    cramped workspace

Had a lovely stay with a cozy king room where the bed was super comfy, and the continental breakfast offered a nice variety. After a long day, unwinding by the fire in the bar was just perfect, and I also enjoyed the tranquil garden area. The only minor hiccup was that the workspace felt a bit cramped, but overall, it was a great experience! 😊

    A cozy escape for couples

The food was sensational, the chef prepared an incredible dinner for us and the breakfast was even better, truly one of the best I've had. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, I felt like I was amongst old friends rather than just guests.

It wasn't inexpensive but it was still worth it for the experience and quality.
